From May 5 to 6, 2025, the International Geotechnical Innovation Conference (IGIC) was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Geoharbour, a leading enterprise in China’s geotechnical engineering industry, was invited to participate as a key representative.

Qian Kun, Technical Manager of Geoharbour’s Middle East subsidiary, delivered a keynote speech titled "combined ground improvement methods-A practical approach to challenging soils ". His presentation provided an in-depth analysis of foundation treatment technologies for challenging geological environments, highlighting the company’s technical expertise and innovative capabilities in the geotechnical field.

In the Middle East, a market traditionally dominated by European and American firms, Geoharbour has broken through with a "Chinese technology + global service" model, securing major projects such as the Jeddah Central Stadium (a proposed venue for the 2034 FIFA World Cup), Riyadh’s Mukaab Cube Skyscraper, and the Oxagon Super Port in Neom. These landmark projects demonstrate the effectiveness of China’s solutions in tackling complex geological challenges.
